Autumn aka Polska Złota Jesień
Autumn has always been my favourite season of all. I’ve enjoyed it while living in Poland as a child/teenager and later on when in Canada. All those road trips up north (of Toronto) to see the leaves changing colours = amazing!
This season has it all. Truly. Beautiful foliage. Layers of clothing. Crisp mornings. Warm sweaters. Hot beverages times ten. Boots and booties. Even the rain. I love the rain! Especially when sitting comfortably in a cozy corner of the house with a hot cup of tea and listening to the rain drops hitting the windows and roofs. Priceless.
This year, I get to spend the autumn months in Poland. For the first time in over two decades. I’m taking it all in. Strolling around the neighbourhood in search of fallen chestnuts and all the photo opportunities available.
I urge you to explore the area you’re living in. Take a walk. Breathe in the cool air. Really breathe in. Be grateful. Fall will be over before you know it.
Sending you warm hugs, wherever you are!
